Students Clean Outdoor Learning Space

For the month of October, 9th graders participated in numerous activities at The Outdoor Learning Center and it's screened classroom.

This included cleaning the surrounding area, fixing the lights, cleaning inside, putting down new stairs, and clearing tree limbs. Students did spectacularly with their jobs!

In addition to learning lessons about the environment, students also built stronger friendships as a result. Their work has made the outdoor spaces cleaner, more organized and extra safe for all students that use the space. The class plans to keep this as an ongoing project and hopes to further their growth of as a team as well as keep the area a beautiful and safe learning environment.
