New School Logo

As you know, TLC is expanding to become a full kindergarten through twelfth grade school in the next four years. The upcoming 2021-22 school year will see the addition of ninth grade with tenth, eleventh, and twelfth being added each subsequent school year.

“Our school has seen increased enrollment for a number of years and our community has asked time and time again that we expand to include high school grades,” said Ryan Bender, head of school.

Bender added that the expansion serves as the perfect time to redesign the school logo and make it symbolic of the school’s overall educational philosophy and inclusive of kindergarten through 12th grade.

“We have always used an apple as our school logo and our new logo is the entire tree,” said Bender. “The tree was actually one of the first symbols looked at for a logo back before the apple was chosen, so this design brings the past into the future. The tree takes into account the whole child as well, taking root in the younger grades, and then growing up into the blue sky during their time at our school.”
